Introduction:

DESICLAY is a kind of registered trademark of clay desiccant. It refers to a family of smectite clay primarily composed of purely natural magnesium-calcium montmorillonite, which is produced by a special technology named semi-calcination. It has excellent moisture adsorption capacity and can prevent the products in the wellclosed container from the negative effect of moisture,and has the same or better performance compared with that of the world-famous American activated clays-the DESI PAK (SUDCHEMIE CO.) and DESICCITE 25 (ENGELHARD CORPORATION).

Adsorption Feature:

The adsorption capacity of DESICLAY is far above American military standard MIL-D3464-E 

or national military  standard  GJB2714-96 (fig.1). Especially, it shows better moisture adsorption capacity 

performance than that of silica gel in the low humidity(<RH=33%).

DESICLAY reaches and surpasses the requirements to adsorption performance of the standard of the national packing silica gel desiccant GB10455-89 or Japanese silica gel JIS-Z- 0701.
