Applications:UV-329 isa strong ultraviolet absorber in the 300-400 nm region. It provides effectivelight stabilization and prevents the yellowing and degradation of polymers suchas polyolefins, PVC, unsaturated polyester, acrylics and ABS. It can be usedalone or in combination with other stabilizers,such as antioxidants. The use ofUV-329 in combination with HALS is particularly noteworthy in that asynergistic performance is often observed.The use levels of UV-329 range between 0.10-1.0%,depending on substrate andperformance requirements of the final application.
