General introduction:
SiC Ceramic Foam Filter is mainly used for ductile and grey iron castings filtering. It can effectively remove inclusions in molten metal, adsorbed impurity, reduce the molten metal in the gas and the harmful element content, decrease the reject rate, improve the processing performance and mechanical properties of the casting.
Using scope:
SiC Ceramic Foam Filter is widely used for molten iron and its alloys filtering in foundries, it is also used for the copper and bronze filtering. It is also applied as gas and dust absorbing media in air-cleaning engineering.
Specification:
We can produce round, square and other geometric shapes of SiC ceramic foam filter.Sizes from 10mm to 500mm, thickness from 10mm to 50mm, bore density from 10PPI-60PPI.
PPI Selection:Ductile iron castings use 10PPI, 15PPI.
Grey iron and copper castings use 10PPPI,15PPI or 20PPI.
Max filtering capacity: Gray iron: 4 kg/cm2 .
Ductile iron: 2 kg/cm2.
We can produce according to customer requirements of different shapes, sizes and bore density.
