Magnesium is an active element, magnesium alloy oxidizes easily at high temperature. The magnesium oxide in the smelting process and silicon oxide, alumina and other conventional materials filter react, so suitable for the aluminium alloy, cast iron containing silicon ceramic foam can not be used for magnesium alloy melt filtration. Magnesia foam ceramic filter is successfully developed to solve this problem. It is applied to purge and filter solution of magnesium and magnesium alloy.
We can supply various shapes, sizes and bore density of magnesia foam ceramic filter. Special size is also available on order.
