This product is a cable tester for already installed or bulk HDMI cable with 2 HDMI A plugs. It uses a 9V battery block and comes with optical and acoustical signals.
This set of HDMI Cable Tester / HDMI Line Tester consist of two separate units:
Main Unit: The main unit has two HDMI connections, allowing easy testing of pre-assembled connections. Simply plug both ends of an HDMI cable into this unit for quick easy testing.
Remote Unit: This is especially useful when cable in installed inside a structure, between two rooms. Simply connect one end of the cable to the main unit, the other end to the remote unit. The remote unit provides all of the same LED indication of each signal path.Each signal path is sequentially tested automatically, or select manual operation, and a simple push of a button will advance to the next signal path. LED indication is provided on the main test unit, as well as the remote module. All connections are HDMI female type. Requires standard 9V battery, not included.Designed to quickly test and troubleshoot standard compliant HDMI cables. This device will test each cable and display a pass or fail by way of LED lights on the front cover. Good for multi-room and long cable length testing. The only product of its kind on the market, the HDMI cable tester allows installers to ensure that the HDMI cable fragile internal copper wires have not broken during installation while making tight bends or other damage.
