Francis turbine is widely used in a hydro power stations with the head of 20-225 meters and discharge of 0.17-10.5(m3/s). It has a worm-shell structure which can make water in it flow easily and smoothly.Therefore,it is regarded as a type of trubine with high efficiency.Although it looks simple,it works well.
