Polycarbonate sheet likes:
Lukewarm water, when cleaning with a little household detergent added and a non-abrasive cloth or sponge, just wipe, don't rub.
Applications requiring high impact strength, good optical clarity and flexibility in design.
Polycarbonate sheet hates:
Being cleaned dry, which can scratch it, fluffy or rough cloths. Polycarbonate has a fairly soft surface in comparison to glass and even acrylic.
Polycarbonate is not partial to solvents or oil-based products such as putty. It is best to use a low modulus, neutral cure silicone sealant for glazing polycarbonate.
Polycarbonate is notch sensitive.
Being heat formed without pre-drying.
