PRODUCT FEATURES
This product is a kind of neutral, one-component, room temperature cure, high performance silicone structural sealant for construction. The sealant can be easily extruded out and react with moisture in air to produce compressive elastomeric resistant to cold, heat and corrosive.The sealant is weather proof and resistant to ozone and ultraviolet ray with a long service life.Excellent adhesion to the surfaces of glass, aluminum alloy, steel and stone materials after cure without primer.Be compatible with all kinds of silicone structural sealant, weather proofing sealant and neutral sealant in silicone sealant series.The sealant is different in black, white, brown and grey. Other colors can be made to meet customer’s demands.The movement ability of joints about ±30% for this product.This product conforms to GB 16776-1997 and ASTM C 1184-95.MAIN PURPOSES
Primarily use for sealing structural glazing between glass and metal in glass curtain walls.Use to seal the connecting surfaces between glass and metal assembly to meet the designed requirements for full-hidden curtain walls.Use for structural adhesion of insulating glass.APPLICATION
First conduct on-the-spot application test to determine compatibility and adhesion of the contracting materials, the application process can be started only after the test is qualified.The recommended back-up material is foaming polyethylene, the polyethylene tapes can also be used in less shallow joint areas.During application, the depth of sealant layer is obtained by design and must conform to JGJ102-96.Substrate surfaces must be completely clean and dry, free from any water, dust, and oil dirt from the surfaces of building material with solvent or deterrent.For better appearance, cover outside areas of joint with masking tape before application, immediately remove the masking tape after tooling.*1.
