butyl  sealant

one part , solvent-free fog-free,unsulfurized, permanent plastic first 

sealant  based  on  polyisobutyl  for  insulating  glass.  it  keeps  plastic  and 

sealing  over  a  wide  temperature  range  and  not  crack  and  harden  for  sealant 

surface.  It  has  good  adhesion  to  glass,  aluminum  alloy,  zinc  plating  steel, 

stainless steel and etc. It could form an excellent humid proof system with elastic 

sealant. 

Where to use 

it's mainly used for insulating glass together with twopart silicone sealant for insulating glass to finish two 

layer seal. 

Application 

Clean and dry adhesion surface to get rid of dirty, oily things. it is applied by special hot-melt butyl 

extrusion machine. The extrusion condition could be satisfied through temperature and pressure adjustment, 

for example temperature could be adjusted over the range of 100°C~130°C. The environment temperature 

should not be lower than 10°C  in application.
